"Hey look, Gio, it's a worm," I say.
"Oooooh, yeah, a worm!" says Gio. "It's still alive. Maybe Daisy would like to eat it."
"Uh, who is Daisy?" I ask, imagining a little girl, with pigtails and glasses. My stomach starts turning.
"Daisy is the turtle at school," answers Gio.
Phew.
Yay Gio! That is very good thinking! Scooby used to LOVE worms.

ReplyDeleteyes...we ended up donating him to a school, and they love him very much. he gets LOTS of worms.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I do not know how the kids can watch Daisy eat the worm.....ugh! Not a pretty sight but of course they think it is the coolest thing ever!
