The Bunn My Cafe Single Cup Multi Use Brewer is able to use a multitude of corporate coffee pods. Or you can brew your own coffee, my personal preference. However, this will require cutting a Melita number 2 filter to fit the filter basket, which is no trouble at all.

Yesterday was so much fun, we decided to continue the birthday celebration on the beach in the tent.

What more could a surfer girl ask for?

Birthday Beach Bash

My birthday is just another excuse to go surfing, not that I need another excuse.

Besides going surfing with family and friends for my birthday, we set up the tent on the beach. And had what I'd call a party, since we had food and drinks.

We were missing some people including my Mom, who was sick in bed, and Gio who was having the time of his life at a friend's birthday party. It was hard, but we made due without them.........

Baby Chicks

Today in science class I helped kids hold baby chicks. Yes, they actually needed help with this because when one baby chick escapes from a kid, so do a few others.

The chicks are so cute and cuddly. If you make a cave with your hands for them, they feel safe and secure and fall asleep.

Both the kids and I were amazed by the chicks' awesome sleeping abilities.
