Today I read about a blog, "Texts From Hillary," that provides some consolation for Hillary Clinton losing her presidential bid in 2008.

The tumblr blog has gone viral. Let's face it who can resist Hillary Clinton parody texts with President Obama, Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Ryan Gosling, Joe Biden and Anthony Weiner.

Piggyback Ride

I guess Gio has upgraded his sand dune flight ticket from business to first class.

"Hey, this is fun!" shouts Gio.

"Yeah, for you!" retorts Belinda.

All I can say is thank goodness I have a friend to do this when my husband isn't around. No way would I carry my son up this ginormous sand dune, on my back. And believe me, he knows it.

"Only Daddy and Belinda give piggyback rides, Mommy doesn't," says Gio.

And that's why "it takes a village to raise a child." Because Mommy doesn't give piggyback rides.

It may also be the reason Belinda is more fit, than I. After all, she is always the one pulling the bike trailer, dragging the kid up the sand dune, and in this case, giving the kid a piggyback ride. Yes, getting in shape, is just one, of the many benefits of being my friend.

"Don't refer to me as a MILF!"

I am so excited! I just stumbled across this Saturday Night Live skit featuring two of my favorite funny people, Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton, and Tina Fey as Sarah Palin, while writing my real blog.

Did Palin really say, "don't refer to me as a MILF," or are the SNL writers just poking fun at Palin? Personally, I wouldn't take being called a milf as an insult and I kind of like the song from Weeds.

Just last week I was telling Stefan, "that Sarah Palin looks like Tina Fey. They must have the same aura. Or maybe it's the glasses."

And now, lo and behold, Fey is playing Palin on SNL. I must be some sort of psychic.
