"Mommy can you marry a boy in this state?" asks Gio

"Not yet," I say.

"What state can you marry a boy?" asks Gio .

"I'm not sure, I'd have to look it up," I say.

"If I marry a boy do I have to kiss him?" asks Gio.

"Yes," I say.

"Maybe I don't want to marry a boy," says Gio.

"Well, if you marry a girl would you want to kiss her?" I ask.

"Maybe I don't want to get married," says Gio. "I'll just stay single and live with you guys forever."
