Jason Jesse Guadalupe Skateboard

This is a reissue of the popular  Jason Jesse Guadalupe Skateboard from the early 90s, I believe.

I saw this deck in two skate shops in Santa Cruz yesterday. I've been wanting this deck for years, so seeing this blessed deck twice in one day, seemed like a sign to buy it! And the board itself has a purple, my favorite color, stain!

New Surf Art

I never know who I'm going to meet at the beach. Today, I met an artist, selling paintings out of his van. And I bought this one.

Now when the surf is flat, I'll look to this piece of art for inspiration.

Robie The Robber

On our way to see visit a friend Gio asks, "Do you have any coins?"

"What do you need coins for?" I ask. "You can't buy anything at Canada's house."

"I need coins for her robot," says Gio.

"What robot?" I ask.

I had no idea what he was talking about, but now I do.

Internet, meet Robbie the Robot Bank, a high-tech piggy bank made by Radio Shack back in the day. Watch out for your wallet though, he's pretty cute.

Just to make sure we stayed smart over February break we went to the Tech Museum in San Jose, California.  And I stayed awake the entire time.

Family Bike Ride

We went on a family bike ride along the Pacific Ocean today. It went really well, except for the part where Vinny's pedal kept coming off forcing to ride back to the car, and drive home for the tools to fix it. Otherwise, it was swell.

Sea Lion Lunatics

The other day, while I was surfing the juvenile sea lions were harrassing me. And by harrassing me I mean they were jumping out of the water in my general direction, repeatedly. AND they were swimming under me.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" I scream as the juvenile deliquent flies out of the water towards me.

The tacky teenager was only three of four feet away from me. He could have hit me!

This proceeded to happen 3 more times.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

"If you stop screaming," he'll leave you alone says the BFF.

One minute later.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," screams the BFF as a sea lion hurls himself through the air towards her.
