Soledad Mission
Tweet ThisIt's California mission time in fourth grade. Vinny (and Hubby) finished his mission with a few days to spare. Phew!
"Yahoooooo!" shouts Vinny. "My mission is finally finished!"
Note: No Mission Kits were injured in the process of building this mission, but only because I had nothing to with building it.
Except to offer criticism, "are you sure the mission is white? Aren't they kind of orangey?"
For some reason Hubby is diorama-cally opposed to mission kits.
"We spent the same amount of money on the supplies to build the mission, as a mission kit costs," says Hubby proudly.
"So why didn't you just buy a kit?" I ask in amazement.
"I will NOT buy a mission kit!" exclaims Hubby.

The accessories and paint cost $20 This is about the same as a basic kit without the accessories and paint. So, I think we made out alright. I guess, we didn't really have to buy the padre, bell, trees, etc. We could have saved $15 right there.
BTW... that last post was me, the Dad.
