Laughing Parrot

No real changes for Vinny today, except I have noticed he's teasing his brother a bit, so he must be feeling better. I do think his nausea has improved due to spacing the first two doses of antibiotics two hours apart, instead of one.

Nay Nay kitty is hanging in there. Her tongue isn't fully functioning so we are helping her eat, by piling up her food, so she can bite it. I think she's going to need sub cutaneous fluids soon, too, as I haven't see her drink any water.

I would like to thank everyone who has been sending us good vibes, prayers, text messages, emails, and phone calls. It's nice to know folks are thinking about us. Actually it's more than nice it makes me smile. :) See?

Anyways, I need a good laugh so I'm posting a video, my friend sent me, of herself and a parrot, whom she came across randomly in a parking lot. It makes me laugh especially the last few seconds when the parrot imitates her breathe in laugh, "Huh!"

They say laughter is the best medicine, and based on the way I feel, exhausted, I'm going to need a lot of it.

Betty White on Saturday Night Live

I never thought I'd have a girl crush on an 88-year-old woman, but after watching Betty White host Saturday Night Live yesterday, I do. Betty, is the oldest and funniest person ever to host SNL.

And I want to be just like her when I grow up. If I ever do grow up, that is.

Besides, I'm fairly certain, we have matching auras, so that shouldn't be hard!

If you missed Betty on SNL, watch the skits here on my blog. Betty does not disappoint, or hold back. So while she may be the same age as your granny, you may want not to watch it with her. Betty is very, very naughty.

Somehow, Betty manages to make MacGrubber funny. MacGrubber is never funny, and always annoying.

Even if you already saw it, watch it, again. And again. This should get all of us through Monday, by golly. There are 19 skits, that have tiny commercial breaks between them, so don't freak out, it's working.

Laughter is the best medicine. And Betty's doin' it right. And by the looks of it, still doin' it. Did I mention I want to be Betty White when I grop up? Cause. I. Do.

I found this video on twitter yesterday morning and by the afternoon it already had 100,000 more hits. I don't know, or care, if those are real lap tops, because this is laugh out loud funny. Butt a bit painful to watch..................
