"Hey look, Gio, it's a worm," I say.
"Oooooh, yeah, a worm!" says Gio. "It's still alive. Maybe Daisy would like to eat it."
"Uh, who is Daisy?" I ask, imagining a little girl, with pigtails and glasses. My stomach starts turning.
"Daisy is the turtle at school," answers Gio.
Phew.

yes...we ended up donating him to a school, and they love him very much. he gets LOTS of worms.
How cute! I do not know how the kids can watch Daisy eat the worm.....ugh! Not a pretty sight but of course they think it is the coolest thing ever!
